Baybayin Workshop — Unlocking the Ancient Script of the Philippines ᜊᜊᜌᜒ

Before the Spanish arrived, Filipinos had their own writing system. Baybayin is the pre-colonial script of the Philippines — a beautiful, flowing alphabet that connected generations of Filipinos to their language, their stories, and each other. In this live, guided Baybayin workshop, you'll learn to read and write it yourself.

No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity, a pen or marker, and paper.
